Teleport
Never get lost in your timeline again

Drop an anchor in your timeline and teleport back to it in a click.
I was recently working on a feature length documentary and constantly navigating this complex timeline.
When I was sitting with the director, making changes, re-arranging scenes, swapping shots from one part of the timeline to another, we spent hours shuttling back and forth, and I often got lost as to where I had come from and where I was trying to get back to.
That's a lot of time spent scrolling, zooming out, then in again, trying to track down colour-specific scenes etc.
My solution?
Teleport lets you drop an anchor and teleport back to it in a click.
One-time purchase. Lifetime updates. Two-machine license.
How does Teleport work?
- Set an anchor in a click to record the current timecode of your playhead
- Add a custom name if you like
- Go off to wherever you want to work next
- Teleport back to your original anchor location in a click
You can store up to 5 anchors, give them custom names and teleport to any of them in a click.
Teleport 2.0 Advanced features
Teleport was recently updated to v2.0 which brings some valuable new features that cannot be replicated by the Premiere Pro marker panel (which only shows the markers of the currently open timeline).
- Auto-switch between open sequences
- Auto-open closed sequences from the All Timelines View
- Clip-based Anchors - set an Anchor within a clip and Teleport to the clip wherever it is
- Choose between colour-coded Anchors or original single colour design
- Stream Deck support via the Teleport Deck plugin
- DaVinci Resolve Teleport (coming soon!)
How do Timeline and Clip Anchors work?
If no clip is selected in the timeline when you drop an Anchor then Teleport will record the current timecode at the position of the playhead. This will Teleport you back to the same Sequence timecode location each time.
If a clip is selected, then the source timecode of that clip and the clip name will be stored in the Anchor.
Now you will Telelport back to that position within the clip, no matter where it's moved to in the timeline.
If the clip has been deleted Teleport will issue a warning. If the clip has been trimmed to remove the Anchor timecode from the Sequence it will Teleport to the current first frame of that clip.
All Anchors are Sequence-specific, even if you rename the sequence, as Teleport uses Premiere's internal ID system.

How do I install the Teleport Stream Deck plugin?
Just double click the Stream Deck plugin included with your purchase. Arrange the colour-coded Anchors (1-5) and Teleport (1-5) buttons to your liking and you're all set.
You can also download the Teleport Stream Deck plugin from the Elgato Marketplace.
Every Cut/daily app is available as a one-time purchase with a lifetime of free updates and a two-machine installation license.
5 x Views

Teleport is designed to be as minimal and discreet as possible.
You can use it in four different views, quickly moving between them in the Teleport panel 'burger menu':
- Horizontal
- Vertical
- Tiny Horizontal
- Tiny Vertical
- All Timelines
The first two allow you to see the anchored timecode and custom name. You can also reset each Teleport anchor with the red X button.

The tiny views make the Teleport panel as small as possible, only displaying the 5 Teleport buttons.
In tiny view, right-click on any Teleport anchor to reset it.

The All Timeline view shows you every Anchor location across every stored timeline. This allows you to instantly re-open any closed timeline and Teleport to that anchor in a single click.
Why don't you just use the Marker Panel?
Teleport is faster and can do things the Marker panel cannot, such as auto-switching and opening closed sequences.
While you can generally use Markers in a similar way, it takes much longer to set, label, find, and use them compared to Teleport. Plus if you have a lot of markers in your timeline already, you'll spend more time finding the right one than if you just used Teleport.
Tiny but powerful
Teleport is designed to be a tiny but powerful app that will save you hours of wasted scrolling and embarrassing confusion.
